Now on train back from Leeds. A very successful day - even met the seller, who turned out to be really nice. And saw Antinous exhibition!

Antinous Exhibition is rather spiffing, and is probably even more so to a Roman buff such as yourself :-)

Yeah, it was beautiful. Probably not worth travelling to Leeds for specifically, but definitely worth taking in if you're in the area anyway.

I may have missed it, but whereabouts in Leeds will you be living?

North Street, just on the north-east edge of the city centre. Pictures and new contact details will be posted (friendslocked) before too long.

There was Drama (http://purple-pen.livejournal.com/159185.html) for a while, but it seems to be resolving itself now. Current plan for the moving date is August 31st.

near Hansa's then! Fabulous. Do you like curry?

Almost exactly on top of it, in fact. It's part of a row of shops, bars, cafes etc. set into the front of the building my flat is in, several of which look like they'll be getting regular custom out of me.

I'm not that keen on curry itself - too hot for my sensitive little taste-buds. But Indian food generally, yes - there are plenty of yummy things which aren't too spicy, like Korma. So if you fancy eating out there any time, let me know!

the great thing about Hansa's is that the staff are lovely, and will happily make things less hot if you ask. And their curries are more about taste than heat anyway. You won't find a korma on the menu, it's just authentic Gujerati food.
