the current season of Doctor Who is, in a different way, now actually as good as Buffy at its best.

blasphemy! I once thought I liked Lost more than Buffy. I was wrong. I started rewatching Buffy again and you realise how brilliant it actually is, and that there is nothing that can compare (except maybe Firefly but that's still Joss and still doesn't quite match it although it comes very close)
