Well, I've always loved it, although I recognise that some of the things that happen in it are unrealistically dark / dramatic. So I can't really comment on the snatching victory theme, as I never felt it had got bad in the first place.

But Keith is a bodyguard to the stars now, which throws up interesting story-lines of its own. And Nate's wife is dead, and probably a lot more interesting that way!
