Hee - that is my real life telephone, actually! It is basically an old 700 series (i.e. what everyone had in the '60s and '70s), except with a purple shell that was part of a project to 'revamp' the line in the early '80s, but which never actually got put into general production in the end because those phones were phased out altogether. I am very proud of it!
