Face of Boe poll

Because this week is seeming ever so long, especially for a girl who at the worst case scenario won't actually get to see this weekend's episode until the evening of the following Friday - a poll about the true identity of the Face of Boe to keep us going:

[Poll #1007209]

I'll have to review Genesis of the Daleks for the first item.

However the Doctor does not address Davros as Davros in Remembrance until after he reveals himself to the viewer and the Doctor. Nor, would I note has Davros' identity ever otherwise been in doubt.

And, given the bronze finish of the new series, I would say that this (http://www.whoniverse.org/pictures/dalek_emperor_imperial.jpg) is a stronger resemblance. :)

what i ment was that the existance of of an immovable dalek who is connected to his computers by wires is more dalek emperor rather than davros - we all know that fasion contious daleks change their outfit over time anyway ;)

and the way I see the silvester mccoy/davros conversation was that the doctor knoew he was davros (which is why he asks him to reveal his true self - bare with me if I'm wrong - I havn't seen it since it was first on bbc 1) but dosn't call him as such purly as a plot device so that we the viewer thinks the child in the chair is davros - does that make sence?

by the by penny - is this discussion ok on yer le jay? let me know if it irritates and we can take it to email of something ;)

No, it's cool - healthy debate is good, so long as you don't get snarky with each other! Bless you for asking, though. :-)
