I was initially worried by the use of guitar as the opening music but was sold on preferring that performance from when he gave the brides the baby. Utterly wonderful performance - so much more visceral than the comparative ethereal floatiness of the traditional ballet version- I loved that the dancers also made noise, that there was live singing and the wolves and horses, the costumes, the bird on the stick to collect and deliver letters - in short all of it. But I did miss Renfield - as I thought he was the highlight of the other performance and some tenderness between Dracula and his victims would have been nice too.

Thank you again for sorting out the mechanics of getting us there and I really enjoyed the fish finger sandwich too :-)
