I'm torn now - part of me doesn't want to watch it because of the jump to a 21st century setting, partly because I was so enjoying the nineteenth but also because I think the trappings of the nineteenth help keep the showing off excesses of Gatiss/Moffatt in check a little bit too.
I really enjoyed the toing and froing between Dracula and Agatha in episode 2 and the growing friendship between the cook and Piotr but it's the laying on with a trowel of things as opposed to hints and nods that gets me ie the Inside no 9/Cabin no 9 reference which wasn't so much a reference to it but a noisy illuminated flashing on an off road sign pointing to it with a klaxon accompaniment.
