It obviously is! The reason I found out it had been in a swimming pool at all was because he was commenting that the chlorine in the water seemed to have got the red wine stains out of it. Ed and his hat certainly go through some adventures... :)
Actually, he's just had to go home and change his trousers after spurting Kummel everywhere as a result of a Jenga forfeit. (Francis will tell you all about Kummel if you need the context for this). That is classic Ed.
