Doctor Who companion test

Gosh, it's a long time since I've posted a personality test result here! But I've never seen a 'which Doctor Who companion are you?' test before - only 'which Doctor?'. I'm not sure whether Barbara was a possible result - I know Susan is one, 'cos that's what the person who alerted me to the test got, and judging from the questions I think the others are Leela, Ace and Rose. But I'll take Romana out of the possible options. :-)

Silly Doctor. It's adorable, really, how hard he tries. And he is pretty brilliant, you'll give him that. But he always seems to overlook the obvious--including the fact that he's not the only Gallifreyan onboard, thank you very much. You are always calm and collected, and more often than not wonderfully witty, in the face of adversity. The Doctor knows he can count on you, even when you infuriate him!

oh shhhh, it's just that Ace was my first ever crush on a girl and so I have an eternal soft spot for her

Well, I was about to say, "Don't worry, you're safe - this quiz is only about girl companions." But I believe we established the other day that Adric is effectively a girl anyway. So yeah, probably better stay away. :-)

Sarah Jane is good for me too. The one I enjoyed most was Jo because she acted up well to the Doctor, but probably I like that best because I love the chemistry between Jon Pertwee, Katy Manning, Nicholas Courtney and Roger Delgado, rather than her actually being the best ever companion! In fact, the Brigadier may be my favourite companion. Does it have to be female?

No, of course not. I agree that the Brigadier is ace, although there's some debate about whether he's actually a companion, as opposed to a regular recurring character. My view is that he isn't strictly speaking a companion - but that doesn't stop you from having him as your favourite regular character!
