None more Gothic

I put it to you: could there possibly be sweets more utterly Gothic than these?

Not only is the packet jet black, but the sweets inside are also jet black and come in black wrappers. I am eating some now, and can report that they are of the same boiled sweet type as e.g. Fox's Glacier Fruits or Glacier Mints, and taste a little bit like Black Jacks. And I fear that when I next look in a mirror, my tongue might now prove to be jet black, as well.

This is true, whilst I have no conclusive proof of its taste, other than never having been sold anything fox glacier shaped or tasting, which as a bumbling english tourist is quite remarkable. If it was a foodstuff I'd have already inadvertenly purchased fox glacier lollies in the shape of mordor or as a ring etched with runes with a certificate of "authenticity". No I am pretty convinced that it is a big snowy blob. There was no evidence of it being liquorice - it was definitely *very* white.
