Happy 05/05/05!
Thursday, 5 May 2005 10:32Nothing else to say, really - I just love dates which make patterns, and it's especially pleasing that we're getting one like this every year at the moment, up to and including 2012. I should have got up at five past five this morning for the full effect, I suppose! Hmmm... maybe I'll save that sort of thing until we get up to 08/08/08.

Date: Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:50 (UTC)Go into Excel and type this date. Then check for it's number value (38505).
Translate this number into Hexadecimal and you get 9669. A palindromic number.
But here's the freaky thing. Translate it into Binary, and you get 1001011001101001. Another palindromic number.
After that, there's 27th August 2007.
It's number value is 39321.
In Binary this is 1001100110011001.
In Hexadecimal, it's 9999.
