Pride Parade photos

As promised, my photos from the Belfast Pride Parade. They're crummy photos, taken with a crummy camera and then scanned (hardly a recommended way of improving image quality), but still - such as they are, here they follow:

Protesters in front of City Hall (not the people in the foreground, who are shoppers watching the parade - the people in the background in the enclosure with the signs). The big sign reads "Repent Ye Therefore and Be Converted", a banner along the front of the enclosure says "Homosexuality is Sin", and one of the smaller signs says "Be Sure Your Sin Will Find You Out".

That's the plan, and thanks so much for the offer of somewhere to stay. Would it work OK for you if I came round to your flat beforehand to finish off the last bits of getting ready?

Ah, great! I'll need address and directions nearer the time, but it's probably best to wait until I've done the moving-to-England thing first. Otherwise I'll just get mightily confused and probably lose them or something.

Great stuff. Its good to see that sort of thing going on in Belfast, its was definitely a city that needed it when I left. Oh, and I noticed in the comments that you are going to be over for B-Movie next month, which is fantastic, I'll see you there.

Yep, it was an excellent day out. It had a real party atmosphere, and most of the people watching the parade seemed to be enjoying the spectacle, rather than getting upset about what it stood for.
